Sony will stream two back-to-back PlayStation State of Play broadcasts in September 2026, starting at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET. Both shows will air on PlayStation’s official channels.
The first broadcast is a general State of Play presentation and will include an extended segment for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The second is a State of Play Japan forecast hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji and will focus on releases and announcements from major Japanese partners.
Sony confirmed content will come from PlayStation Studios and third-party developers. The company has not released a full schedule but noted viewers should expect trailers, gameplay footage and release updates.
In the run-up to the broadcasts, a trophy list on PlayStation Network indicated the Xbox game Keeper may be coming to PS5. A leaker using the handle NateTheHate 2 has suggested possible inclusions such as Rhapsody, Daba, Dino Crisis 2-potentially a PS Plus Classic-and Until Dawn 2. Those reports have not been confirmed by developers or Sony and are speculative.
The livestreams will be available live on PlayStation’s channels, and recordings and highlight reels are expected to remain available after the broadcast for viewers who cannot watch at the scheduled time.
