Pokémon Champions hits mobile June 17 with Raichu, megastones
Pokémon Champions launches on iOS and Android on June 17; pre-registration is open and Switch cross-save is supported. Logins June 17–Sept. 2 award Raichu and two Megastones.
The Pokémon Company confirmed that Pokémon Champions will be released on iOS and Android on June 17; pre-registration is available now. The mobile release supports cross-save with the Nintendo Switch version so players can continue progress and retain captured Pokémon across platforms.
Players who log in on mobile between June 17 and Sept. 2 will receive a Raichu and two Megastones, Raichunite X and Raichunite Y. The items will be delivered to the in-game mailbox after the first login during the event period.
Raichunite X grants Mega Raichu the Electric Surge ability. Raichunite Y grants the No Guard ability. The Megastones can be used to Mega Evolve Raichu in battle modes that allow Mega Evolution once they are claimed from the mailbox.
Pokémon Champions first launched on Nintendo Switch in April. The initial release drew criticism for its monetization model, performance issues and bugs; developers have released several updates to address those problems since then.
The mobile version will offer the same battle-focused features as the console edition, with progress synchronization for linked accounts. Detailed pre-registration instructions and the cross-save onboarding process will be posted on the game’s official channels ahead of the June 17 launch.
