Pokémon Pokopia Jirachi event starts June 23

The Pokémon Company will run a ‘Wish upon a Jirachi’ event in Pokémon Pokopia from June 23 to July 8, 2026. During the event, players can befriend Jirachi and collect sparkling wish notes to redeem starry-sky furniture and décor.

Players begin the event by speaking with Jirachi to receive a recipe for wish notes. Interacting with other Pokémon and completing their requests converts ordinary wish notes into sparkling wish notes. Sparkling wish notes can be exchanged with Jirachi at a rebuilt Pokémon Center for themed furniture and decorative items.

Participation requires at least one rebuilt Pokémon Center in a player’s town. The Switch 2 console’s system date and time must be set within the June 23–July 8 window for the event to appear in a game.

The items available during the event follow a celestial theme and are redeemable only by trading sparkling wish notes while the event is active. Items cannot be obtained outside the event period.

The Pokémon Company advised: ‘To kick off the event, talk to Jirachi to get a recipe for wish notes. From there, interact with other Pokémon and fulfill their requests to transform wish notes into sparkling wish notes. Visit Jirachi at your Pokémon Center of choice to exchange sparkling wish notes for furniture and décor inspired by the starry sky. Don’t forget that Jirachi can only visit towns with a rebuilt Pokémon Center-if you want to participate in this event, make sure you have at least one up and running.’

Pokémon Pokopia is a life-simulation game for Nintendo’s Switch 2. The limited-time event centers on in-game visits by Jirachi and player interactions with other Pokémon.
