Pokémon Pokopia Patch 1.1.1 Fixes Item, Ditto Bugs
Nintendo released Pokémon Pokopia version 1.1.1 for Switch 2 on June 18, 2026, addressing item-placement errors and correcting Ditto’s photo emote facial expression.
Nintendo released a small maintenance update for Pokémon Pokopia on June 18, 2026. Version 1.1.1 for the Switch 2 addresses two reported issues affecting item placement and an emote animation for the character Ditto.
Nintendo’s official support page lists the patch notes for version 1.1.1. The update fixes a problem that could occur when the number of items placed in a single area exceeded a certain limit. It also corrects a visual bug in which Ditto’s facial expression did not change when players used an emote while taking in-game photos.
The patch follows an in-game event announcement and arrives after an earlier June update that coincided with the launch of an Expansion Pass for Pokémon Pokopia. The Expansion Pass is available on the Nintendo eShop. According to the published schedule, part one titled “Bubbly Basin” will arrive in August 2026, part two with additional features is planned for late 2026, and part three, which will add a new town, is scheduled for 2027. The 1.1.1 update does not add Expansion Pass content and is limited to maintenance fixes.
Players running Pokémon Pokopia on Switch 2 should receive the 1.1.1 update through the console’s standard update process or can download it via the system’s software update function. Nintendo’s support page remains the source for the official patch details.
