Possible PlayStation Portal OLED Appears in Wi-Fi Certification

Two unannounced Sony devices linked to PlayStation Portal model codes have received Wi-Fi Alliance certification, renewing speculation about an OLED version in 2026.

Two unannounced Sony Interactive Entertainment devices linked to PlayStation Portal model codes have received Wi-Fi Alliance certification. Sony has not confirmed the devices’ identity or announced a new Portal model.

The certificates list two similar model codes. The difference may indicate regional versions of the same hardware revision, although the documents do not identify the products as PlayStation Portal devices.

The certified hardware is listed as running Android 15 and supporting Wi-Fi 5 on 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. The listed hardware includes a 3.5mm headphone port and a USB port for charging.

In January 2026, leaker KeplerL2 claimed that Sony planned to release a PlayStation Portal with an OLED display during the year. The Wi-Fi Alliance certificates do not mention an OLED screen, leaving the display upgrade unconfirmed.

Sony has not announced a release date, price or other details for the certified devices.
