PS Plus 2026: RuneScape Dragonwilds on PS5 day one

Sony will add RuneScape Dragonwilds to PS Plus Extra at launch on PS5 in 2026; three PS2 classics will join PS Plus Premium on set dates in June, July and August.

Sony announced four PS Plus titles during its June PlayStation State of Play. RuneScape Dragonwilds will launch on PlayStation 5 in 2026 and will be included in the PS Plus Extra catalog on its release day. Jagex, the developer, described the game as combining crafting and survival mechanics with the studio’s established RuneScape design. Jagex noted the franchise has been active for 25 years.

In a press release, Jagex wrote: “Bringing Dragonwilds and its mix of crafting, survival, and quintessential RuneScape-ness to new platforms like PlayStation 5 is key to unleashing its magic to more players around the gaming globe.”

Sony also confirmed three PS2-era titles for PS Plus Premium. Gitaroo Man will be added June 16, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy on July 28, and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams on August 25. Each title will be playable on PS5 and PS4 and will also be available to buy separately.

The releases are divided by subscription tier: PS Plus Extra will receive the day-one PS5 release of Dragonwilds, while PS Plus Premium will receive the three PS2 classics on the listed dates. Sony did not provide a precise launch date for Dragonwilds beyond 2026 or indicate regional differences for its availability.
