PS Plus day-one: Big Walk Aug. 4, RuneScape Sept. 15

PlayStation Plus will add two day-one titles in 2026: Big Walk for all tiers on Aug. 4 and RuneScape: Dragonwilds for Extra and Premium on Sept. 15.

PlayStation Plus will add two day-one releases in 2026. Big Walk will launch Aug. 4 for all subscription tiers, while RuneScape: Dragonwilds will arrive Sept. 15 for Extra and Premium members. Both games will be available to eligible subscribers on their release dates.

Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure first confirmed for PS Plus during the February 2026 PlayStation State of Play. Publisher Panic announced the Aug. 4 release date during a Nintendo Direct and confirmed the game will be included for Essential, Extra and Premium members on that date. An overview from Panic describes the title as: “Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries.” The publisher adds that players must work together, use in-game tools and toys to communicate, and adapt when characters lose the ability to speak.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be a day-one addition to the Extra and Premium catalogs on Sept. 15. The game marks the RuneScape franchise’s debut on PlayStation consoles and is a standalone adventure set on an undiscovered continent. Jagex’s description states the title “blends high-fantasy and iconic RuneScape lore,” with players facing creatures such as Zogres and Black Knights and a newly introduced creature called the Garou. The release will include a soundtrack combining reorchestrated RuneScape themes with new music.

Both releases are part of PlayStation Plus’s 2026 day-one slate, offering immediate access to new games depending on a subscriber’s tier. Big Walk will be accessible to all PS Plus members at launch, while RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be restricted to Extra and Premium subscribers. Big Walk’s PS Plus connection was noted at State of Play earlier this year, and Dragonwilds was confirmed recently for PS5 ahead of its PlayStation debut.
