PS Plus Essential May 2026: Wuchang, Nine Sols, EA Sports FC 26

Sony began adding the May 2026 PS Plus Essential titles to subscriber libraries in Japan and Asia on May 5. The remaining regions will receive the same lineup at noon local time on May 7.

The three games available for claim are Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (PS5 only), Nine Sols (PS5 and PS4) and EA Sports FC 26 (PS5 and PS4). PS Plus Essential is the tier that provides a monthly set of free games to active subscribers.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a current-generation action RPG released within the past year and received generally positive reviews. Nine Sols launched in 2024 and received award nominations. EA Sports FC 26 is the latest annual football title in the franchise and is available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Once a subscriber adds a title to their account library, the game remains in that library permanently and does not require an active PS Plus subscription to keep. Games must be claimed while listed as free for the month; local availability follows the announced schedule.

Subscribers in regions that have not yet received the May drop can still claim April’s PS Plus games until the new titles go live locally. Players should check the PlayStation Store on their console or account to add the free games when they appear.
