PS Plus Extra and Premium: Four games leave Sept. 15

PlayStation Store has posted an initial list of games scheduled to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in September 2026. Persona 5 Tactica, EA Sports Madden NFL 26, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are set to be removed by Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026.

The removal list appeared in the Japanese and Asian PlayStation Stores as the August PS Plus lineup began rolling out in regions where it was Tuesday, Aug. 18. Sony’s regional PlayStation Stores typically update at noon local time on the Tuesday each month; the same removal list is expected to appear in other territories when their stores refresh, with possible slight regional variations.

Persona 5 Tactica and EA Sports Madden NFL 26 are listed as leaving the Extra and Premium catalogues. Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are listed specifically under PS Plus Premium. All four titles are scheduled to depart the subscription libraries on Sept. 15, the date when the next month’s Extra and Premium offerings are added and outgoing titles are removed.

Having two Premium titles on a single-month removal list is uncommon. PS Plus Premium includes legacy and classic games as well as streaming options; classic titles are generally less likely to rotate out of the subscription tiers than newer additions.

Subscribers who wish to keep access should note that titles removed from Extra or Premium may remain available for purchase on the PlayStation Store. Games removed from the subscription catalog will no longer be playable under those tiers after the removal date. Saved data and trophies remain tied to user accounts and are not affected by catalog changes.

PlayStation has not published specific reasons for each title’s removal. Monthly catalog turnover allows Sony to add new titles and manage licensing agreements; regional licensing and release deals can influence which games appear or leave in different territories.

For now, players in Japan and parts of Asia can see the outgoing titles listed in their stores. Users in other regions should check their local PlayStation Store at noon on the next Tuesday update to confirm whether the same four games will be removed from their Extra and Premium catalogs.
