Sony announced PlayStation Plus will add Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Life is Strange: Double Exposure and several other titles to its June Game Catalog. PlayStation Plus Premium will add rhythm game Gitaroo Man for PS4 and PS5.
Final Fantasy XVI will join the Game Catalog for PS5 on June 16 worldwide. Sonic X Shadow Generations is available June 10 in the US and the UK and June 11 in Japan on PS5 and PS4; the package includes a new Shadow campaign and a remaster of Sonic Generations with upgraded visuals and bonus content. Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life is Strange: Double Exposure will arrive June 23 in the US, the UK and Japan. Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire and Black Desert are scheduled for June 30 in those markets. Gitaroo Man will be available globally on Premium on June 16. The company noted the full lineup will be available in all other regions on June 16 and that catalog offerings may vary by region and platform.
Final Fantasy XVI is presented as the 16th mainline entry and an action-oriented title for PS5. Players control Clive Rosfield in Valisthea, where Eikonic powers and political conflict drive the story. Sonic X Shadow Generations follows Shadow the Hedgehog as he confronts Black Doom and his past, and it contains a complete remaster of Sonic Generations with updated 2D and 3D stages.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance follows Henry, a blacksmith’s son drawn into civil war; the PS5 edition includes 4K resolution, improved frame rates and higher-resolution textures. Life is Strange: Double Exposure returns protagonist Max Caulfield to a new narrative that splits play between parallel timelines as she investigates the apparent murder of a friend.
Farming Simulator 25 adds rice and spinach crops, new animals, production chains, new regions including East Asia, and more than 400 licensed machines. Blades of Fire centers on weapon forging that permanently alters weapon attributes based on player choices and features deliberate, high-risk combat. Black Desert is an open-world MMORPG with life skills, trade systems, sieges and large-scale combat.
Gitaroo Man, a PlayStation 2-era rhythm title, makes its PlayStation console debut on PS4 and PS5 with music-driven combat and character art by illustrator 326. Sony advised players to check the PlayStation Store on release day for regional differences in the Game Catalog and Premium/Deluxe lineups and said streaming availability of digital PS5 games will vary by time and country.
