PS Plus July 2026 free games begin rolling out worldwide

PlayStation has started rolling out its July 2026 monthly free games for the base PS Plus subscription. The release began in Japan and parts of Asia on Tuesday, July 7, and will be available worldwide when the PlayStation Store updates at local noon in each region.

The July offerings for PS5 and PS4 are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II and CrossCode. Subscribers can add the titles to their libraries once the store lists them for their area.

Players who did not claim June’s monthly games still have a final chance before that set is removed. June’s lineup includes Grounded Fully Yoked Edition (PS5), Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (PS5, PS4) and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (PS5).

The base monthly releases are issued simultaneously across regions when the store refreshes. Higher PS Plus tiers that maintain larger game catalogs receive regional, staggered updates and follow different schedules.

Sony is also facing criticism after announcing plans to end physical disc production for PS5 titles. Corporations have mocked the decision on social media and elected officials have raised questions about consumer access and the secondary market for used games. Separately, there are indications Sony may revise PS Plus pricing again, a topic that has drawn attention from subscribers and industry observers.

Subscribers who want July’s games should check the PlayStation Store at local noon for their region and add the titles to their accounts before the next monthly refresh.
