PS Plus Premium adds four free PS5 game trials

PlayStation Plus Premium added four free PS5 game trials on July 15, 2026, through the PlayStation Store. Subscribers gained temporary access to Iron Guard: Day Zero, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, Styx: Blades of Greed and Screamer.

The trials went live the same day the PlayStation Store launched its Summer Sale. Iron Guard: Day Zero, a strategy title released in June 2026, is listed at $4.99. Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, a role-playing game released in 2025, is 30% off. Styx: Blades of Greed, part of a stealth action series, is 40% off. Screamer, a racing game from developer Milestone, is included in the trials but is not discounted.

PlayStation Plus Premium members can download the trial versions on PS5 via the PlayStation Store to sample gameplay before deciding whether to buy the full games. Trial access is temporary; availability and trial length are determined by Sony and individual publishers.

Eriksholm follows protagonist Hanna as she searches for her brother Herman, a search that triggers events affecting their city. Styx: Blades of Greed centers on a mission to seize Quartz, a high-value resource amid conflict between elves, humans and orcs. Iron Guard: Day Zero is presented as a strategy game, and Screamer is a track-focused racing title from Milestone.

The Summer Sale discounts shown on the PlayStation Store apply to full purchases of the featured titles and may change while the sale runs. Prices and discount levels are set by Sony and participating publishers.

The new trials add strategy, role-playing, stealth action and racing options to the PlayStation Plus Premium library, allowing subscribers to test multiple genres directly on their PS5 consoles.
