PS Plus Premium offers 2.5-hour trial for Saros on PS5
PS Plus Premium subscribers can play Saros for 2.5 hours; campaign and trophy progress carry over if they buy the $69.99 PS5 game released April 30, 2026.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has added a 2.5-hour full-game trial of Saros to PS Plus Premium. The game, developed by Housemarque, launched on April 30, 2026, for PlayStation 5.
The trial was rolled out quietly for PS Plus Premium subscribers and grants access to the full game for a 2.5-hour play window. Any campaign progress and trophies earned during the trial will transfer to the full version if a player purchases the game.
The main story of Saros runs under 20 hours, so the trial covers the opening sections and early mechanics of the game.
The digital edition of Saros is listed at $69.99 on the PlayStation Store and is not discounted at present. A physical disc is also available for purchase.
The game follows Arjun Devraj, a Soltari enforcer, and features voice work by Rahul Kohli. An official overview reads: “Beneath the shadow of an ominous eclipse, Arjun Devraj (Rahul Kohli) is a Soltari enforcer who will stop at nothing to pursue answers on the shape-shifting Carcosa, a world of dark secrets and hostile inhabitants.”
Publisher materials describe the gameplay as focused on projectile-based combat and boss encounters with a neon-infused visual style.
Saros holds an average Metacritic score of 87 out of 100.
The trial provides access to the game’s opening sections before purchase; all progress is preserved for players who upgrade to the full release.
