PS Plus September free games begin rolling out

PS Plus’s monthly free games began rolling out today in Japan and parts of Asia; subscribers can claim MLB The Show 26 and three other titles when the PlayStation Store updates at local noon.

Sony began rolling out the PS Plus September free games today in Japan and parts of Asia, where it is already September 1. Subscribers in those regions can claim MLB The Show 26 and three additional titles when the PlayStation Store refreshes at local noon.

The base PS Plus tier’s monthly lineup becomes available worldwide at the same local time as regional stores update. Sony started the staggered rollout in areas that reached September 1 first. Extra and Premium catalogs are updated on different schedules and may appear at different times by region.

The September pack includes four games across PS5 and PS4. MLB: The Show 26 (PS5) is the latest entry in the baseball series, with updated gameplay features, new modes and enhanced stadium effects. Sniper Elite: Resistance (PS5, PS4) shifts the long-running stealth franchise to covert operations in occupied France with emphasis on long-range sniping and tactical third-person combat. Chained Echoes (PS4) is a story-driven Japanese-style RPG in which a group of heroes travels the continent of Valandis to try to end a war between three kingdoms. Wobbly Life (PS5, PS4) is a physics-based sandbox multiplayer game where players take odd jobs and explore an open world solo or with up to four players in local or online co-op.

Subscribers who missed August’s offerings have one last chance to add those games before they rotate out. The August lineup includes Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition (PS5, PS4), Big Walk (PS5, day-one launch) and Signalis (PS4); those titles will remain claimable until the September selection replaces them.

Players should check the PlayStation Store at their local noon update and add each title to their library to retain access while their PS Plus base membership remains active. After claiming, the games stay tied to the subscriber’s account for the duration of the membership.
