PS Store halves price of new PS5 and PS4 Black Ops

Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2, released in July 2026 for PS5 and PS4, are 50% off on the PlayStation Store through Aug. 6, dropping from $39.99 to $19.99.

Two PlayStation ports, Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, released in July 2026 for PS5 and PS4, are available at a 50% discount on the PlayStation Store until Aug. 6, 2026. Each title is listed at $19.99, down from the $39.99 launch price.

The discounted price applies to both PS5 and PS4 versions. PlayStation Plus subscribers benefit from cross-buy availability, meaning a single purchase provides access to both console versions. Season Passes for each game are sold separately at $29.99 at full price. PlayStation Plus members can purchase those add-ons for $9.89 each through Aug. 6, representing a 67% reduction.

Sony is also offering free downloadable content for Black Ops 2 called the Ultimate Customization Bundle. The bundle includes 25 personalization packs-Afterlife, Aqua, Bacon, Beast, Benjamins, Breach, Comics, Coyote, Cyborg, Dead Man’s Hand, Dia de los Muertos, Dragon, Glam, Graffiti, Jungle Warfare, Kawaii, Octane, Pack-a-Punch, Paladin, Party Rock, Rogue, UK Punk, Viper, Weaponized 115 and Zombies. The free bundle also contains Calling Card Packs for African, Asia-Pacific, European, North American and South American flags. It adds extra Create-A-Class slots and allows players to archive an additional 20 emblems and 45 custom games.

The ports launched at a $39.99 price point for each game, a higher-than-typical rate for PS3-era ports. The PlayStation Store listing shows the temporary price reductions through Aug. 6, 2026, and the promotional pricing is visible at checkout for qualifying accounts.
