PS Store Deals Tab Returns on PS5 Ahead of May 13 Sale

On May 7 the PlayStation Store’s Deals tab disappeared from the console storefront and from the web and mobile versions of the store. The section returned roughly 12 hours later and now lists the Next Level Savings promotion, scheduled to begin May 13, 2026.

The store listing indicates the Next Level Savings sale will include discounts on PS5 and PS4 games. The promotion is expected to appear on the console store and in the web and app versions when it goes live.

Sony has not issued a formal comment about the temporary absence of the Deals section or the change in listings.

The gap in promotions drew attention because the store typically runs regular sales. Beta testers of upcoming PS5 firmware have reported a redesigned store interface, and the company is working on user interface updates for the console. No official connection has been confirmed between those updates and the missing Deals tab.

The Next Level Savings sale precedes PlayStation’s annual Days of Play event, which normally runs from late May through June and often features additional discounts and bundles. Discounted titles will return beginning May 13, and wishlisted games may be included in the promotion.
