PS Store Adds Free Demo for Prinny Party on PS5
A free demo for Nippon Ichi Software’s Prinny Party: Going Overboard! is available now on PS5, Nintendo Switch (both models) and PC via Steam. Full game arrives Nov. 11, 2026.
Nippon Ichi Software has released a free demo of Prinny Party: Going Overboard! for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The demo offers a standard sweet-and-spicy mode and an exclusive Super-Spicy challenge. The full game is scheduled for Nov. 11, 2026.
The demo places up to four players into the game’s role-playing party setup. Players move around a board to earn experience, acquire equipment and complete quests. Boss encounters require cooperation to lower the boss, while points are awarded to the player who brings the boss back to its spawn point, creating competitive elements within cooperative play.
Super-Spicy mode requires clearing the demo while controlling Prinny with a limited set of tools and increases the difficulty. The demo allows players to test core systems, multiplayer mechanics and game balance ahead of release.
Playable character types include Warrior, Archer, Ninja and Prinny. The game uses physics-driven interactions that let players pick up and throw other characters and enemies during matches.
The full release will let players build and upgrade facilities such as hospitals and armories, where other players can shop and access better gear. Prinny Party includes a GameShare feature that enables a player who owns the game to play with friends who do not have a copy.
The demo is available for download on the PlayStation Store, the Nintendo eShop for both Switch models and Steam. The full title can be added to wishlists on those stores ahead of its Nov. 11, 2026 release.
