PS Store Cuts Steelrising Bastille Edition to $7.49 Until May 28

Sony’s PlayStation Store has discounted the 2022 PS5 action role-playing game Steelrising Bastille Edition to $7.49 through May 28. The bundle includes the base game and the Discus Chain and The Cagliostro’s Secrets add-ons. The edition normally retails for $49.99.

The offer is available on the PlayStation Store for PS5 owners and runs through May 28. The Bastille Edition is listed at its lowest recorded price. The standard Steelrising edition is not on sale; players who already own the base game can buy the two DLC packs separately at reduced prices until the same deadline.

Steelrising launched in 2022 and was developed by Spiders, a studio that has since closed. The game places players in an alternate version of the French Revolution. Players take the role of Aegis, an automaton assigned to protect Marie Antoinette.

Gameplay combines action-oriented combat with mobility and gadget use as players move across streets, rooftops, neighborhoods and castles in a darkened Paris. Reviewers and players have noted elements associated with stealth-focused and Soulslike titles, including timed combat and careful positioning, along with tools that encourage vertical and tactical play.
