PS5 sequel Caladrius 2: Dark Element launches Dec. 10, 2026
Caladrius 2: Dark Element, the PS5 sequel to the 2013 shooter Caladrius (ported to PS3 as Caladrius Blaze), launches December 10, 2026.
H2 Interactive will release Caladrius 2: Dark Element digitally worldwide for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on December 10, 2026. Physical editions have been announced only for Japan, with a standard edition priced at 6,578 yen and a limited edition at 12,980 yen. An Xbox release has not been announced.
The game follows the 2013 action shooter Caladrius, which debuted as a timed Xbox console exclusive and was ported to PlayStation 3 in 2014 under the title Caladrius Blaze. The new entry arrives more than a decade after the PS3 release.
In a press release, the publisher described the sequel with the line: “Thirteen years after the original title made its debut, the series is reborn with a brand-new installment that further evolves the shocking experience fans remember.” The release added that Caladrius 2 is “set in a dark gothic world where beauty and darkness intertwine” and that it “delivers exhilarating 2D bullet-hell shooting action.”
The press release also highlighted character and art updates, stating players will “fight your way across battlefields engulfed in darkness alongside a cast of unique characters brought to life by talented new illustrators.” The game is presented as a side-scrolling, bullet-hell shooter with a darker visual and narrative tone than earlier entries.
Physical availability outside Japan has not been confirmed, and the publisher has not announced an Xbox version.
