PS5 Adds CloverPit and Starsand Island in August

PlayStation 5 will receive two previously Xbox and PC titles in August. CloverPit arrives on Aug. 13 priced at $4.99, and Starsand Island launches on Aug. 18 at $39.99. Both will be available through the PlayStation digital store when they go live.

CloverPit, developed by Panik Arcade and first released in 2025, is a psychological horror roguelite built around a slot machine mechanic and debt repayment at the end of each round. Panik Arcade described the game as “the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, a roguelite that traps players in a hell of their own creation,” adding that players are “locked in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM” and must “pay off your debt at the end of each round, or fall to ruin — literally!” The PS5 release marks the title’s debut on PlayStation.

Starsand Island entered early access on Xbox and PC in February 2026. An official overview states the game was “crafted to be an inviting place for players to enjoy the simple life, inspired by the Chinese countryside and encapsulating traditional Eastern philosophy.” The title supports up to four-player online multiplayer and lets players explore varied landscapes, fish off the coast, build together and fight monsters in ancient ruins.

Both developers released new trailers for the PS5 versions that outline gameplay and tone. The PS5 launches follow CloverPit’s 2025 release on other platforms and Starsand Island’s several-month early access period on Xbox and PC. Exact storefront pages and timing will appear on PlayStation’s digital store when each title goes live.
