PS5 demos: Marsupilami 2 and Woodo available free

PS5 players can download free demos of Marsupilami 2 – Salsa Palombia and the diorama puzzle Woodo from the PlayStation Store. No PlayStation Plus required.

Two upcoming PlayStation 5 games offer free demos on the PlayStation Store. Marsupilami 2 – Salsa Palombia, from Ocellus Studio, and Woodo, from Tiny Monks Tales, are available to download now without a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Marsupilami 2’s demo delivers fast-paced 2D platforming and places players in the fictional land of Palombia. The playable section sends players to stop the Mummy Queen, who uses an infectious melody to control animals and spread chaos. The full game is scheduled for release on September 3, 2026, for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game’s description states: “A strange melody has swept across Palombia… and all the animals have suddenly started dancing, leaving chaos in their wake! The creature behind this crazy beat is none other than the Mummy Queen, back from the Land of the Dead with her minions to play a cursed concert with a calamitous crescendo.”

The Marsupilami character originates in comics by André Franquin. The demo highlights platforming sections and the setup of the Mummy Queen plot.

Woodo is a diorama-style puzzle game in which players assemble wooden scenes piece by piece. When objects are placed in their correct spots, each scene gradually fills with color and triggers small animations. The game follows characters Foxy and Ben the frog through a series of connected dioramas that reveal moments from their shared journey. Woodo has not announced a release date.

Both demos can be downloaded directly from the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 5 and do not require a PlayStation Plus subscription. Marsupilami 2’s demo offers a preview of its action-oriented levels and story ahead of the 2026 release, while Woodo’s demo highlights the game’s visual design and puzzle mechanics.
