PS5 sequel Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back Due 2027

A PS5 sequel, Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back, from JP Universe and publishers Dragami Games and Nada Holdings is due in 2027; a gameplay preview appeared at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back is in development at JP Universe for PlayStation 5 and is scheduled to launch in 2027. Dragami Games and Nada Holdings are listed as the publishers. A gameplay preview was shown at Tokyo Game Show 2026.

JP Universe described the plot and setting: “Juliet returns, in a brand-new outfit and with even more power, to a rebuilt San Romero, now transformed into ‘Jaredwood,’ a sprawling metropolis built around the film industry. When a mysterious director traps her inside his twisted zombie movie, Juliet must fight alongside her allies, uncover the conspiracy behind the chaos, and stop a new threat posed by the Corrupted Realm zombies.”

The original Lollipop Chainsaw launched on PlayStation 3 in 2012 and was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture. Grasshopper Manufacture is not involved in the sequel; JP Universe is developing the new title.

The Tokyo Game Show preview focused on combat, the urban environment and visual updates for PS5. The game has been announced only for PlayStation 5; the publishers have not provided a specific release date, pricing, preorder information, special editions or details on language support.
