PS5, PS4 ports of Black Ops 1 & 2 are 50% off

Sony is offering a 50% discount on the newly released PS5 and PS4 ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 through Aug. 6. The ports launched in July 2026 with a standard price of $39.99; PlayStation Plus subscribers can purchase the cross-buy versions for either console at $19.99 while the sale runs.

The reduced base-game price does not include additional content. Season Passes for both Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 are listed at $29.99 each. PlayStation Plus subscribers can buy those Season Passes for $9.89 each through Aug. 6, a discount applied separately from the base-game sale.

PlayStation is also offering free downloadable content for Black Ops 2 called the Ultimate Customization Bundle. The bundle includes 25 personalization packs — Afterlife, Aqua, Bacon, Beast, Benjamins, Breach, Comics, Coyote, Cyborg, Dead Man’s Hand, Dia de los Muertos, Dragon, Glam, Graffiti, Jungle Warfare, Kawaii, Octane, Pack-a-Punch, Paladin, Party Rock, Rogue, UK Punk, Viper, Weaponized 115 and Zombies — and Calling Card Packs featuring flags for Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, North America and South America. The free bundle increases customization capacity by adding extra Create-A-Class slots and allowing players to archive an additional 20 emblems and 45 custom games.

The sale and free DLC are available on the PlayStation Store for both PS5 and PS4 while the promotion lasts. The ports are presented as modern-console versions of the original PlayStation 3 titles; the current promotion covers the base games, with Season Pass content offered separately at the discounted PlayStation Plus rate for eligible subscribers.
