Banishers is a third-person action-adventure game set in New Eden in 1695. Players control two ghost hunters, Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, both playable and equipped with different abilities and combat styles. The game combines exploration, combat against wraiths and narrative choices.

Key story choices ask players whether to banish haunted souls or hold survivors responsible. The game includes a skill tree that lets players shape Antea and Red’s abilities and playstyles.

On release the game received a Metacritic score of 78 based on 68 critic reviews. On the platform where nearly 800 players reviewed it, the user score registers at 7.6 out of 10.

Don’t Nod released Lost Records: Bloom & Rage in 2025 and Aphelion in 2026. PC and Xbox users should check their stores for current prices or separate promotions. The PlayStation Store discount expires on Sept. 10, 2026.
