PS5 RPG Neo Berlin 2087 Gets 2028 Release Window

ByteRockers’ Games and developer Elysium Game Studio announced Neo Berlin 2087 will arrive in 2028 and released a new trailer that offers the most detailed look at the project since its 2021 reveal. The publisher did not provide a specific month or day.

The publisher confirmed the title for PlayStation 5 only and has not announced additional platforms.

Neo Berlin 2087 is set in the year 2087 and centers on technological inequality. The official overview states: “In 2087, your origin defines your access to technology. While the ruling class started relying on the flashiest advancements, a normal person can only afford so many cyberparts. At the same time, the outcasts are plagued by malfunctioning machines roaming the land.” It adds that robots with faulty programming are attacking humans and that failed experiments are causing widespread chaos.

Players take the role of Nolan, a police officer equipped with advanced technology and special abilities. Nolan must find and protect Natalie, the police chief’s daughter, and investigate the circumstances of the police chief’s sudden murder.

Beyond the trailer and the plot overview, the publisher has not released details on gameplay systems, combat design or the game’s length.

The project was first shown in 2021 under the name Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2 and has appeared only sporadically since then. With a 2028 window announced, further updates are expected to provide a firm release date and platform confirmations.
