PS5 hit Space Marine 2 discounted 70% on PS Store

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is discounted 70% on the PlayStation Store and can be bought for $20.99 until Sept. 10. After the promotion ends the PS5 version will return to its regular price of $69.99. The sale applies to the PS5 edition; the title is also available through the PS Plus Extra catalog.

The game was developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. Released in 2024, Space Marine 2 holds a PlayStation Store rating of 4.38 out of 5 based on more than 38,000 votes and a Metacritic score of 80 out of 100. The title received nominations at several awards events and includes enhancements for PS5 Pro hardware.

The game’s official overview reads: “Embody the superhuman skill and brutality of a Space Marine, the greatest of the Emperor’s warriors. Hold at bay the horrors of the galaxy in epic battles on far-flung planets with your deadly abilities and devastating weaponry. Uncover dark secrets to drive back the everlasting night and prove your ultimate loyalty to humanity. Crush the Tyranid swarms. Defend humanity.”

Space Marine 2 focuses on single-player action set pieces and large-scale combat. Store and publisher descriptions emphasize weaponry, character abilities and battles on multiple planets as central features.

Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have not announced any extension to the PlayStation Store sale. Players who want permanent ownership rather than access through PS Plus Extra must purchase the game before Sept. 10 to secure the discounted price.
