The Alters, a 2025 PS5 survival adventure from 11 Bit Studios, is 50% off on the PlayStation Store at $17.49 until Thursday, Sept. 24; price reverts to $34.99 after.
11 Bit Studios’ The Alters is discounted 50% on the PlayStation Store to $17.49 through Thursday, Sept. 24. After that date the base PS5 edition will return to its regular price of $34.99.
The sale applies to the base PS5 edition only; the Deluxe Edition is not included. The Deluxe upgrade pack is reduced 35% to $11.69 and includes the Last Variable DLC, the original soundtrack and deluxe outfits.
In The Alters players control Jan Dolski, a crash survivor on a hostile planet who must keep a mobile base functioning. Using a substance called Rapidium, Jan can create alternative versions of himself known as alters, each shaped by different past decisions. The game combines survival mechanics with a branching narrative that requires resource management, moral choices and attention to character relationships.
The Alters launched in 2025 and has received industry awards. The Last Variable DLC continues Jan’s story. Players with a PS Plus Premium subscription can stream the game via cloud play rather than download it to a console.
