Fallen Tree Games’ The Precinct is on sale at 40% off on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5 users, reducing the price to under $20 through Oct. 8, 2026. After that date the title will return to its standard $29.99 price.

Fallen Tree Games released The Precinct on May 13, 2025. On the PlayStation Store the game has 5,599 user ratings and an average score of 4.34 out of 5. The game supports 11 screen languages, including English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

The Precinct places players in the role of Officer Nick Cordell Jr., a rookie patrol cop. The official description reads: “You are Officer Nick Cordell Jr. As a rookie beat cop fresh out of the Academy, you’re on the front line of defense for Averno’s citizens.” The story is set in a 1980s neo-noir East Coast setting and includes a personal mystery involving the protagonist’s father.

Gameplay centers on street patrols and responding to callouts. Players can pursue suspects on foot, in vehicles and by helicopter, and can choose tactics during chases and shootouts. The game includes a support system that lets players request backup and deploy squad cars, roadblocks and spike strips to contain targets.

The Precinct features a day-night cycle and dynamic weather that affect how missions play out. Investigative tasks require collecting evidence and following leads across gang-controlled neighborhoods and wider conspiracies.

The sale is available on the PlayStation Store to PS5 users until Oct. 8, 2026, after which the game will revert to its regular $29.99 listing.
