PS5 Welcome Hub: Fortnite Leads US Weekly Player Counts
Sony’s PS5 Welcome Hub beta shows Fortnite with 14.6M weekly US players, followed by GTA V (5.13M) and Minecraft (4.97M).
Sony’s PS5 Welcome Hub beta for the United States reports weekly unique-player totals for games on the platform. Fortnite recorded 14.6 million unique players in the most recent seven-day snapshot, followed by Grand Theft Auto V with 5.13 million and Minecraft with 4.97 million.
The Welcome Hub widget shows a country-specific top-ten list based on the number of unique players who launched a game during the past seven days rather than concurrent players. Sony is running the feature in beta and has not published a full global dataset.
The U.S. snapshot lists Call of Duty at 4.95 million weekly players, Apex Legends at 1.72 million, Marvel Rivals at 1.58 million, Battlefield 6 at 1.51 million and ARC Raiders at 972,000. The widget may list different titles in other weeks or regions as the beta continues.
Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft were released more than ten years ago. Many titles on the list are live-service games that receive regular content updates.
The Welcome Hub’s weekly-unique-player metric provides a view of which titles are being started on PS5 over seven days, a different measure than concurrent-user counts used by other services. Sony may publish additional country lists as the feature rolls out.
