Pure Xbox Weekend Picks: Forza Horizon 6, The Outer Worlds, 007

Pure Xbox staff will spend the May 30-31 weekend playing Forza Horizon 6, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition on Xbox Game Pass and 007 First Light.

Pure Xbox staff writer Ben Kerry and editor Fraser Gilbert outlined their plans for the May 30-31 holiday weekend, naming Forza Horizon 6, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and 007 First Light as their primary games.

Kerry plans to keep Forza Horizon 6 in his rotation while replaying The Outer Worlds after the Spacer’s Choice Edition arrived on Xbox Game Pass. He has not returned to The Outer Worlds 2 since publishing early impressions late last year and intends to try the two titles back-to-back. Kerry also expects to play across platforms, returning to Gran Turismo 7 and revisiting the original BioShock on Switch 2.

Gilbert selected Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light for the weekend. He pointed to the Festival Playlist and ongoing main-game content in Forza Horizon 6 as reasons he will continue to play, and he is pacing progress toward Legend Island. Limited time before release because of a public holiday meant he could not play 007 First Light earlier; he has been sampling it this week and plans to prioritize it over the weekend.

The most notable change for the weekend is The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition joining Xbox Game Pass, which prompted at least one staff member to consider a fresh run. Forza Horizon 6 continues to feature rotating challenges and seasonal playlist content that extend play beyond the base campaign.

Both staffers invited readers to share what they plan to play over the holiday weekend in the comments.
