Raiden Fighters Remix adds 54 FPS option on Switch
H2 Interactive released Version 1.1 for Raiden Fighters Remix Collection on Nintendo Switch, adding a 54 FPS mode, new performance settings and fixes for visual and display issues.
H2 Interactive released Version 1.1 for Raiden Fighters Remix Collection on Nintendo Switch today. The downloadable patch adds a 54 frames-per-second option, new performance settings and fixes for several visual and display issues. The publisher wrote the changes give players “greater flexibility” and aim to recreate an “authentic arcade feel.”
The update arrived as a patch for the compilation that launched earlier this year. Players can still select a 60 FPS option; the new 54 FPS setting is presented as an alternative pacing choice intended to match the timing and presentation of the original arcade hardware. H2 Interactive lists corrections to a number of small graphical and display problems and says the adjustments improve combat experience and overall stability.
Raiden Fighters Remix Collection packages three arcade entries from SEIBU KAIHATSU’s Raiden Fighters series: Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet. The collection includes both Japanese and International versions of each game, an online ranking system and a remixed soundtrack, among other features included at launch. The online ranking feature lets players compare scores.
The publisher described the Version 1.1 update as focused on performance and presentation refinements rather than new gameplay content. The patch is available now for owners of the Nintendo Switch edition.
