Rumored Rayman Legends Remake Keeps Co-op, May Debut This Summer
Tom Henderson says Ubisoft’s rumored Rayman Legends remake will keep local co-op and the original game’s core content, and could be revealed during summer showcases or Summer Game Fest.
Journalist Tom Henderson says a rumored Rayman Legends remake at Ubisoft will retain local cooperative play and the core content of the original game. He expects a reveal during summer showcases or Summer Game Fest.
Henderson told sources he has heard “positive things” about the project’s development and that it appears to preserve the features that made the original popular, including local co-op.
People close to the project, Henderson reported, emphasize the remake will bring back co-op functionality and maintain the core gameplay and levels fans remember.
Ubisoft has not confirmed a remake or provided a timeline for any announcement. No target platforms, release window, visual upgrades or additional content have been disclosed.
Henderson said, “I’m hearing quite a lot of positive things about the Rayman Legends remake. That’s coming back with co-op and everything people love about that game.” He added, “I think we’ll hear about it this summer. Who knows?”
Co-op has long been a feature of Rayman Legends, allowing multiple players to move through levels together. Cooperative play has frequently been cited by players and reviewers as a central part of the series’ appeal.
If Henderson’s timeline is accurate, an official reveal could appear during the main publisher or platform showcases in the late spring and early summer season, or during Summer Game Fest.
