Rayman Legends remake may be revealed this summer
Tom Henderson says a Rayman Legends remake could be revealed this summer after he heard “quite a lot of positive things” about the project.
Tom Henderson, a games industry commentator, told listeners on a recent podcast that he has heard “quite a lot of positive things” about a Rayman Legends remake and expects a reveal this summer. He added that the project appears to be in active development.
On the podcast Henderson stated, “I think we’ll hear about it this summer.” He also said developers are “bringing everything back from that game,” a comment that suggests the remake may include original levels and features.
Rayman Legends first launched in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Vita, with a PlayStation 4 release following in 2014. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and has been reissued on current consoles and PC since its debut.
Henderson did not provide specific information on platforms, visual updates, additional content, or a release window. Ubisoft has not issued any confirmation about a Legends remake.
June is a common month for publishers to reveal new titles and updates at events and online showcases, which could align with a summer announcement. Separate reports have indicated multiple Rayman projects are in development at Ubisoft.
Until Ubisoft provides official information, details on what the remake would include, the platforms it would appear on, and its release timing remain unconfirmed.
