Rayman Legends Retold adds ‘U Can’t Touch This’ and ‘Macarena’
Rayman Legends Retold will add four music stages, including ones based on MC Hammer’s ‘U Can’t Touch This’ and Los Del Río’s ‘Macarena.’ The game launches Oct. 1.
Ubisoft plans to release Rayman Legends Retold on Oct. 1. The remastered edition will include four new music-themed levels, two of them based on MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” and Los Del Río’s “Macarena.” The title was showcased during Sony’s State of Play.
The release is presented as an updated version of Rayman Legends and is expected to retail for $40. Physical editions are planned for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Early previews and small screenshots published before the embargo showed revised visuals and level layouts. The game will support online cooperative play for up to four players.
Details about the music stages stem from early leaks and previews. Two identified tracks are adaptations of “U Can’t Touch This” and “Macarena.” The identities of the other two new music-stage tracks have not been confirmed and are expected to be revealed at launch.
A leaker who shared information about Rayman Legends Retold also reported that Ubisoft is planning Rayman 4. That source indicated the sequel’s development timing could be tied to Retold’s commercial performance and that the same game engine may be used. Ubisoft has not confirmed the full soundtrack list or plans for a new numbered entry.
Official confirmation of the complete track list and any further details will be available when Rayman Legends Retold releases on Oct. 1.
