Rayman Legends Retold launches Oct. 1 on Xbox Series X|S

Ubisoft revealed a trailer at State of Play confirming Rayman Legends Retold will release Oct. 1, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S with 3D visuals, four‑player couch co‑op and voiced cinematics.

Ubisoft revealed a trailer for Rayman Legends Retold during PlayStation’s State of Play and set the release date as Oct. 1, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S. The studio describes the title as a reimagining of the 2013 platformer with updated three-dimensional visuals, new story content, fully voiced cinematics and an expanded soundtrack.

The trailer shows classic levels refreshed in 3D and new cutscenes. Gameplay supports single-player or local multiplayer for up to four players. Ubisoft highlighted new musical stages, competitive local modes including Kung Foot, and sequences that feature mounted dragon segments.

The studio announced the Xbox Series X|S timing but did not provide a full platform list in the reveal. Prior store listings that appeared before the event referenced a Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition with 4K/60 FPS and quality-of-life improvements; Ubisoft has not confirmed whether Origins will be bundled with Retold.

Reports before the trailer suggested a retail price of $39.99, but the publisher has not confirmed pricing. Rayman Legends originally launched in 2013 and Rayman Origins arrived in 2011. The original version of Rayman Legends has been available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Ubisoft said it will share additional details, including platform availability beyond Xbox Series X|S and pricing, ahead of the October launch.
