Previews of Rayman Legends Retold screened before State of Play

Several media representatives received early access to Rayman Legends Retold ahead of its Oct. 1 release. The non-disclosure agreement covering those previews is expected to lift after Sony’s State of Play presentation on June 3.

Sony will present Rayman Legends Retold during State of Play on June 3 at 10 p.m. UK time / 2 p.m. PT. The preview embargo is expected to end immediately after the broadcast, at which point attendees plan to publish written impressions and media.

People who saw the build described it as playable rather than a trailer reel. The version shown combines 2.5D side-scrolling platforming with occasional fully 3D segments. Attendees reported limited information on levels, mechanics and any added content until previews go live.

Fragments of information have already reached the public. One attendee shared the game’s logo and reported holding screenshots and other assets but declined to publish them before the showcase. Some participants are withholding materials until the embargo expires, while others may still share content ahead of that deadline.
