Retail leaks and industry insiders say Rayman Legends Retold for Nintendo Switch 2 will be sold as a Game-Key Card and will include a copy of Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition. The remake is expected to be revealed during a State of Play presentation scheduled for later today and is reported to launch on October 1.

Known leaker Billbil-kun posted that the Switch 2 version “Will be a Game-Key Card and will include a copy of Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition.” Billbil-kun also indicated the title would feature couch co-op only. Other insiders have described the game as supporting online cooperative play for up to four players, creating a discrepancy that the official announcement should resolve.

Sources say a physical edition is planned for both PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Prior reports link the remake, titled Rayman Legends Retold, to a $40 price point. Technical descriptions from insiders characterize the game as primarily 2.5D with occasional 3D sections rather than a full 3D overhaul; NateDrake reported those presentation details.

Internal materials reportedly used the working name Project Steambot before the Rayman Legends Retold name appeared in leaks. The package for Switch 2 including Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition is presented in the leaks as part of the same product offering.
