Rayman Legends Retold tipped to debut at State of Play

Leaker NateDrake says Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends Retold will be revealed during Sony’s State of Play on June 3, with the broadcast at 10 p.m. UK / 2 p.m. PT.

Known leaker NateDrake posted that Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends Retold will debut during Sony’s State of Play on June 3. The livestream is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. UK time / 2 p.m. PT.

NateDrake offered a few details about the remake’s presentation and visuals, describing much of the game as 2.5D with some sections rendered in full 3D. He predicted the reveal ‘will impress and surprise people.’

A logo for Rayman Legends Retold has circulated on social media. The project has been linked to an internal Ubisoft codename previously reported as Project Steambot. Industry insider Tom Henderson has indicated a potential October launch, but Ubisoft has not confirmed a release date.

State of Play is Sony’s periodic showcase for PlayStation titles and third-party announcements. The June 3 broadcast will include trailers and information about platforms, features, and release timing for games featured on the show.

Ubisoft recently celebrated Rayman’s 30th anniversary and released concept art from the original Rayman Legends. The company has also confirmed a separate new Rayman AAA project is in development, distinct from the Retold remake.

Rayman Legends is known for its hand-drawn art and cooperative platforming. Ubisoft has not yet published full platform lists, feature details, or an official release window for Rayman Legends Retold; those details are expected during the State of Play segment.
