Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition arrives on Switch 2 Oct. 1, 2026

Ubisoft confirmed Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, releasing Oct. 1, 2026. It supports 4K/60fps and is included with standard and deluxe Rayman Legends Retold editions.

Ubisoft confirmed Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 1, 2026. The remaster will be included with both the standard and deluxe editions of Rayman Legends Retold.

The Enhanced Edition will run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on Switch 2, and adds new collectibles, rewards and quality-of-life changes. The update includes 60 hidden Relics and a Snoring Tree feature to track progress through the adventure.

The release restores the original hand-drawn visuals while improving technical performance and gameplay tracking. Players return to the Glade of Dreams across more than 60 handcrafted levels featuring hidden paths, evolving abilities and boss encounters, including a giant multi-eyed creature, a mountainous golem and a carnivorous daisy. The game features a cast of more than 100 characters.

Local multiplayer remains intact, with up to four-player couch co-op available to play levels cooperatively or competitively.

The announcement follows a recent digital store listing that revealed several technical and feature details ahead of the confirmation. Ubisoft has not disclosed platform availability beyond the bundled Retold editions and said it will share further information before the October release.

Rayman Origins originally launched in November 2011 on Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a 3DS version in 2012.
