ReFantazio and Persona 4 Golden leave Game Pass May 31

Microsoft will remove five games from Xbox Game Pass on May 31, 2026: Against the Storm, Crypt Custodian, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 4 Golden and Spray Paint Simulator. The titles will be removed from console, PC and cloud subscriptions.

The departures appear in the official Xbox mobile app, which lists May 31 as the final day subscribers can access these games through Game Pass. After that date the titles will no longer appear in the subscription library unless purchased separately.

The Microsoft Store is offering at least a 20 percent discount on each title through the removal date. Additional price reductions may appear during upcoming sales.

ReFantazio is an Atlus role-playing game. Persona 4 Golden is published by Sega. Against the Storm is a strategy game. Crypt Custodian is a soulslike action title. Spray Paint Simulator is a creative simulation game.

Access to a game via Game Pass ends at 11:59 p.m. local time on the listed removal date. Save data typically remains on a player account so progress can be resumed if the game is repurchased.

Games leave Game Pass when licensing agreements, publisher decisions or promotional windows expire. Microsoft has signaled additional additions scheduled for May 2026 and indicated more announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
