Resident Evil Village discounted 75% on PlayStation Store

Sony’s PlayStation Store is offering Capcom’s Resident Evil Village for PS4 and PS5 at a 75% discount. The standard edition is available for $9.99 through Sept. 24, 2026; the price will return to $39.99 after that date.

The sale applies only to the standard PS4 and PS5 editions and is available through the PlayStation Store. The purchase provides the full single-player campaign. The PS5 version includes PS5 Pro enhancements, and the title features a VR Mode that PSVR2 owners can use at no extra charge.

A gameplay demo for the Gold Edition is available for download, and the Maiden demo and Maiden DLC designed for PS5 are accessible through the PlayStation Store.

Resident Evil Village is the eighth main story entry in Capcom’s series and follows Resident Evil 7. The game centers on Ethan Winters, who lives with his wife Mia and daughter Rosemary until Chris Redfield attacks their home and Rosemary is taken. The title supports both first- and third-person perspectives.

Capcom released Resident Evil Village in May 2021. On the PlayStation Store the game has an average rating of 4.64 out of 5 based on more than 71,000 user ratings.
