Sega’s 2010 RPG Resonance of Fate is now available as an Enhanced Remaster for PS5 and PC. The PS5 version costs $34.99, while PS4 owners can buy it for $9.99.

Sega’s 2010 role-playing game Resonance of Fate has received an Enhanced Remaster for PS5 and PC. The PS5 version is available now through the PlayStation Store for $34.99.

The remaster is exclusive to PS5 among consoles, although the original game launched on Xbox 360. Owners of the PS4 version, Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition, will not receive a free upgrade. They can purchase the PS5 release for $9.99.

The updated version adds native 4K output and HDR support. Developer tri-Ace described the release as an update that expands the game’s graphics options and provides higher-resolution visuals during exploration and gun battles.

Resonance of Fate is set in a distant future where humanity lives on a damaged Earth near collapse. Most people reside in Basel, a large machine that controls the environment. The game follows three protagonists who work as mercenaries for Basel’s ruling class.

The original RPG was released in 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition later launched for PS4. The Enhanced Remaster is the game’s third release on PlayStation. It combines role-playing systems with gun-based combat and uses a steampunk-inspired setting.
