Rumored Goron, Kokiri and Zelda-style dog seen on set

Casting websites and photos posted online reportedly show Albert Latailakepa listed as a Goron, Evelyn Towersey listed as Fado, a Kokiri, and images of a dog on the live-action Zelda film set. The actor listings and some images were later removed from public casting pages.

The Kokiri role is identified as Fado, a child character from Ocarina of Time. The Goron credit does not specify whether it refers to a named franchise character or a generic member of the race. Both actor entries appeared on casting profiles before being taken down.

Photographs circulated by social users show a dog on set wearing an identification tag marked ‘Umami.’ The name ‘Umami’ has also been seen on a clipboard and on other production items at the location. The repeated appearance of the word on set materials has been noted by several observers.

Nintendo adjusted the film’s release date from May to April 2027. Nintendo has not released an official cast list or confirmed the presence of specific franchise races such as Gorons or Kokiri on screen. Casting notices and leaked images often appear during early production and can be removed as contracts and clearances change.

Until the studio or Nintendo issues an official cast announcement, the names and photographs remain unverified reports drawn from casting profiles and social media posts.
