Saints Row (PS5/PS4) on PS Store $7.49; full game $11.48

The 2022 Saints Row reboot for PS5 and PS4 is on sale for 75% off on the PlayStation Store through Thursday, May 28. The base game is $7.49 and the Expansion Pass is $3.99; together they cost $11.48.

The PS5 and PS4 versions are cross-buy, so one purchase grants access on both consoles. The base game usually sells for $29.99; the current sale price is the lowest recorded on the store.

Some Saints Row cosmetic packs are available to claim for free on the PlayStation Store.

Saints Row was developed by Volition, which has since closed. The open-world action-adventure places players in the fictional city of Santo Ileso and combines driving, shooting and wingsuit segments across a large sandbox environment.

An official overview reads: “Experience the biggest and best Saints Row playground ever created; the unique sprawling world of Santo Ileso is the backdrop for a wild, larger than life sandbox of thrilling side hustles, criminal ventures, and blockbuster missions, as you shoot, drive, and wingsuit your way to the top.”

Buying the base game and Expansion Pass together for $11.48 is cheaper than the $39.99 Gold Edition.

At launch the reboot received mixed reviews, with critics and players pointing to design and performance issues while noting the game’s map size and open-world activities.
