Sanei to release Star Fox plush in Japan before Switch 2

Sanei will release a line of Star Fox plush toys in Japan in late June featuring Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare and Slippy Toad. Each plush is priced at ¥3,300 and the timing coincides with the global launch of the new Star Fox game for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25, 2026.

Product listings from Sanei provide dimensions for each figure: Fox McCloud W12×D12×H25 cm; Falco Lombardi W14×D12×H25 cm; Peppy Hare W14×D12×H29 cm; Slippy Toad W14×D10×H20 cm.

Sanei has not announced official distribution beyond Japan. Imported stock has appeared for preorder through specialty retailers. One online retailer lists the four plush at $19.99 / £18.92 each with a preorder deadline of May 21, 2026, and estimated shipping around June 30, 2026.

The same retailer lists a Sanei Donkey Kong Bananza set featuring Donkey Kong and Pauline for $35.99 / £34.06, available for preorder through May 21 and expected to ship by August 31, 2026.

Retail listings and Sanei’s product information show Japanese pricing and measurements but do not confirm international release plans. Consumers outside Japan who want the figures before any local stock will need to use import channels or await announcements from international distributors.

Nintendo confirmed the new Star Fox game for release on Switch 2 on June 25, 2026. Merchandise tied to the title is appearing in stores and online ahead of that date.
