Scuf Gaming launched the Omega, an officially licensed PlayStation 5 performance controller, and began shipping it worldwide on May 12, 2026. The controller is priced at $219.99 in the U.S., €239.99 in Europe and £209.99 in the U.K., with availability through Scuf’s website and select retailers. It is compatible with PS5 consoles as well as PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices.
The Omega provides a total of 28 inputs, including 11 additional customizable controls beyond a standard gamepad: four rear paddles, two side buttons and five programmable G-Keys. Users can remap inputs on the controller itself or use the Scuf Mobile App to create and save multiple profiles and switch layouts between matches.
The Scuf Mobile App, available for iOS and Android, stores profiles to the controller so settings remain available without the app. The app includes options for true 0% deadzones, adjustable trigger and thumbstick response curves, three thumbstick response zones (Circle, Square and Squircle), SOCD configuration for fighting games, audio and microphone controls, thumbstick recalibration, battery and charging monitoring, mobile connectivity setup and firmware updates. RGB lighting control is supported when the controller is used on PC.
Hardware choices emphasize durability and responsiveness. The Omega uses Omron mechanical switches on its Instant Triggers, D-Pad and action buttons. Triggers offer an adjustable mode that clicks quickly for shooter-style inputs and a full analog range for throttle or feathering control. Endurance TMR thumbsticks use non-contact magnetic sensing to reduce wear; players can choose concave or domed tops in short or tall heights and recalibrate them through the app.
Scuf placed paddles where fingers typically rest and added a non-slip texture to the grip. Vibration modules were removed to reduce weight and to prevent interference with small hand adjustments. The controller supports low-latency wireless connectivity and is built for cross-platform use.
Scuf framed Omega as the result of 15 years of pro player feedback and controller design work. The company provided full product specifications, launch pricing and regional availability details on its website.
