SEGA, Good Smile Reveal Pop Up Parade Sonic Figure

SEGA and Good Smile announced a new Pop Up Parade figure based on the retro arcade game Sonic the Fighters. Neither company has provided a release date or pricing information.

The firms confirmed the figure will join Good Smile’s Pop Up Parade line. Promotional images were shared with the announcement, but details such as scale, materials, regional availability, distribution partners and pre-order windows were not included.

Good Smile’s Pop Up Parade series generally features simpler, ready-to-display figures offered at lower price points than the company’s more elaborate lines. The Sonic the Fighters item will be sold under that series.

Sonic the Fighters is a head-to-head fighting game that features a roster of recurring Sonic characters and first appeared in arcades in the mid-1990s. The character-focused game has been the basis for past collectible releases.

Collectors and franchise fans are awaiting further details. SEGA and Good Smile are expected to provide information on timing, pricing and pre-orders in a future update.
