SEGA reported franchise unit sales for the quarter ended March 2026 and announced reductions to several free-to-play and Games as a Service projects.
The company published revised sales figures in its financial results for the January–March 2026 period. Like a Dragon, including Judgment titles, sold 1.38 million units in the quarter. Sonic-related releases accounted for 990,000 units. Persona series entries reached 880,000 units, and the Total War strategy series posted 630,000 units.
SEGA said it has shelved the planned Super Game that had been in development and will cut multiple live-service and free-to-play projects. The company confirmed Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio remain on its release slate and will continue to be supported.
The sales update covers unit movements only for the January through March 2026 quarter and reflects SEGA’s revised accounting for franchise performance.
