Sesame Street: Friends & Fun launches on PS5

Sesame Street: Friends & Fun is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The release marks the franchise’s first console game in 15 years.

Players can create their own characters and explore three Sesame Street-inspired locations while helping residents prepare for the neighborhood’s annual Big Block Party. The game supports solo play and local cooperative play for two people on the same system.

Designed for younger players, the game uses simple controls and activities focused on kindness, community and learning. More than 100 minigames include shape tracing, counting, sorting and problem-solving challenges.

The game features Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Tango, Grover, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, The Count, Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird. Activities include cooking with Cookie Monster, helping Abby with a magic performance and caring for Tango, Elmo’s puppy.

Players can customize their homes and parts of the neighborhood with clothing, furniture and decorations. Sesame Street: Friends & Fun is available digitally through the PlayStation Store and on the other listed platforms.
