SiN: Reloaded, a PS5 remaster by Nightdive Studios, is on the PlayStation Store for $29.99 and carries a 72/100 OpenCritic Top Critic score and a 4.59/5 PlayStation user rating.

SiN: Reloaded, a PlayStation 5 remaster of the 1998 first-person shooter, launched on the PlayStation Store and is priced at $29.99. The release holds a Top Critic Average of 72 out of 100 on OpenCritic and a 4.59 out of 5 Global Player Rating from PlayStation users.

The remaster was developed by Nightdive Studios, a subsidiary of Atari. The original game was developed by Ritual Entertainment and published by Activision. Nightdive updated controls and visuals to run on current console hardware.

The game is built on the KEX Engine and includes HD textures and models, refreshed 2D screens and menu art, and support for up to 4K resolution at 120 frames per second. Players can switch between the remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold presentation. The SiN: Wages of Sin expansion has been preserved and optimized for the updated engine.

Players assume the role of security consultant Colonel John R. Blade as he confronts Dr. Elexis Sinclaire, CEO of SinTEK Industries. The official description reads, “Enter a near-future dystopian world as security consultant Colonel John R. Blade as you take on the seductively evil Doctor Elexis Sinclaire.” Gameplay retains elements from the original, including DOS-style terminal hacking, use of elevators and security cameras, and vehicles such as a forklift, a patrol boat and a helicopter. Player choices can produce branching mission paths.

SiN: Reloaded is available now on the PlayStation Store for PS5 owners.
